Immortalitas
Mixed Media on Canvas, 2023

"immortālitās f (genitive immortālitātis) immortality, divinity"

Hannah writes:

“The question of What Does Life After Death Look Like? can never truly be answered until our time in this life comes to an end. Personally, the subject of death does not scare me and I would like to believe it is not a simple end of existence and everything stops. Like many others I would hope death is a transitional period onto something else, whatever that may be.

Immortalitas is a painting inspired by both sea snow and stardust playing with the idea that we never truly die as our energy is transferred. Therefore, we continue to live on through other beings.”
