‘Before The Storm’
Chris writes:
I want to look at how riding a motorbike has helped me deal with loss, trauma and mental health issues, to try and portray the only thing that gives me peace. Maybe with a look back at what has been lost. I have never successfully/ cohesively been able to write down what riding bikes gives me but this quote by T.E Lawrence comes close:

“When my mood gets too hot, and I find myself wondering beyond control I pull out my motorbike and hurl it at top speed through these unfit roads for hour after hour. My nerves are jaded and gone near dead so that nothing less than hours of voluntary danger will prick them in to life.”
